Skyglobe ☁️π€
☁️
Cotton flurries hanging down
A velvety blue blanket
I look on and on
As I make shapes and squares,
Of hopping bunnies and sugar cotton candy
A flying sea right above me
The closer I get, I feel more free
I wish the snowglobe could turn,
The snow would climb up the tree
The sky would be below my feet
So I'd swim and surf in it
And catch a wink or two or three
On pastel pillows on a spree
And they'll float me to skies I haven't yet seen
There would be oceans of blue, or pink or midnight,
I could tell the day changed by the colour of our eyes
I'd eat mooncakes and bathe in sunlight,
Oh how I'd love to ski around the sky
After all this, when it turns right back up I'll still be the same happy as I always was
I'll just look up at the sky and imagine once again,
Singing on the clouds and rising with the rain

Ever thought if we're actually living in a sphere that's like one of the myriad snowflakes, looked on or controlled by some entity beyond our grasp of reality? Did the thought ever pass how skies would look like on other planets? Will humanity ever be able to look at a sky different from the one all of us see every day?
